Acidophilus - Review

I got a chance to review Milk Free Acidophilus by Homeopathic & Natural Health Paradise.

My Take:

Both of my babies, which are now boys had life threatening illnesses when they were babies. Mica had a staph infection in his neck and Isaak had meningitis. They had a lot of antibiotics to get better. Although antibiotics saved their lives, they also gave them both baby eczema. I tried many topical things to get their eczema to go away. None of those things worked. Once I gave them probiotics, their eczema went away with time. I am a believer in probiotics.

About Acidophilus:

This product contains probiotics, the good bacteria residing in the digestive tract. Acidophilus support the intestinal flora and boost benign bacteria while suppressing destructive bacteria, creating a healthy bacteria balance. Acidophilus also treat and prevent digestive disorders and vaginal yeast infections. They contain cancer fighting agents, lower the serum cholesterol level, support synthesis of various vitamins such as vitamin B-12, vitamin K, thiamine and folic acid in the intestines, and relieve symptoms of inflammatory bowel disease.

It is recommended to take Acidophilus two to three times daily.

Omega 3-6-9

I got a chance to review Omega 3-6-9 by Homeopathic & Natural Health Paradise.

My Take:

Ever since my Grandma was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease; I've been worried about other people in my family (including myself) getting it. Puzzles help with brain development. I work on crossword puzzles and even write them for my exams (I'm a teacher). I also know that Omega helps with brain development.

It is recommended to take Omega 3-6-9 two to three times daily.

Omega 3-6-9 combines fatty acids that are essential and necessary for a good health. Here's how each omega works:

Omega 3 helps with prevention of heart disease and heart attack complications. It regulates lipid levels, lowers blood pressure and improves glucose metabolism. Omega 3 supports growth and development on children, especially their nervous tissue; it improves cognitive function and emotional health. It is an anti-inflammatory and provides protection against cardiovascular disease, arthritis, skin conditions, depression and other mood-related disorders.
Omega 6 helps with bloating and pain associated to PMS. It supports healthy skin, hair and nails; generally it brings hormonal and emotional balance.
Omega 9 has many preventative qualities as its main component, oleic acid, helps reduce the risk of arteriosclerosis, cardiovascular disease and stroke.

I love that by taking this, it actually helps with PMS and brings emotional balance. I have never thought of myself as being overly emotional. Ever since my nephew was born in June; I've been a stress ball. He has Trisomy 18, which only 10% make it past the age of 1. I know everything happens for a reason. His birth has changed the dynamics of how everything works in our family. I love him, but the worry and stress has multiplied big time in my life.
